Young fashionistas

I’m sometimes jealous when I see so good dressed girls on streets. Especially here in UK. In my opinion girls in England, have got great sense of style, they can easily mix different styles, new with old, vintage with runaway designer clothes. I really love it. I’m experimenting more with my style since I’m here. It is much easier to check different styles when no one knows you. It was not so easy for me in my home town, even though I was a big city. I’m now in time of changing my style. I m little bit bored of couple of things I was doing with my “look”, that’s why this blog, to run experiments and share them with you. I don’t know. It’s not so easy to choose this one proper way, and not make mistakes (thanks Good i have never dyed my hair pink, or something like this:) but I made many mistakes like covering myself to much and not showing my curves properly. For a long time I was struggling with my body and I was trying to accept myself, but I made it. Now I’m really happy of this how do I look like.

But I’m still little bit jealous, when I see 16-17 years old girls which are dressing so well, and can mix so good styles together. It is now different, when I was 16 I was not into fashion, there was no GossipGirl, and Sex and The City, which was for adults :P. Reason is simple I used to have different interests, not fashion, love for fashion came later. I think 20s is the best time for looking for your own style.

AGE: 16
HOMETOWN: Trophy Club, TX

WHAT SHE'S WEARING: "I got the jacket on eBay--it's vintage Kansai Yamamoto from the 70's. It's got detailing on the back that you can't see, I like that it's a bit gothic! The jeans are Hysteric Glamour, I got them at a boutique in Tokyo two years ago. I took a seam ripper to the inner seams because they were so skinny they bunched up over all of my shoes! I got the cheesy vintage ringer shirt at a vintage store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. My ankle boots are Balenciaga, which I managed to snag for a heavily reduced price at a Neiman's outlet due to the fact that one is missing a harness. I think they go with just about everything!"

I must say I agree with you - it is almost unbelievable how fashionable some teenage girls are! I am 15 myself, but I adore every single lady in this post: they manage to come up with such beautiuful, creative combinations! :) I love fashion too, and write about it on my blog, but I must say, that there is yet a lot I have to learn :)
This is a very interesting article ;)
